Author Biography

Paula Gomes Magalhães, Centre for Theatre Studies, School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon, Portugal

Paula Gomes Magalhães is a researcher at the Centre for Theatre Studies of the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon. She holds a PhD and a master’s degree in Theatre Studies. Her research focuses mainly on popular theatre. She is a member of the Monitoring and Evaluation Committees for the Directorate-General for the Arts. She is also a member of the Editorial Board of Sinais de Cena journal. She has published several studies related to Lisbon and theatre practices.
